b)      Understand there are two main issues when upgrading to a new tankless system. These common issues are the type of venting required and the supply of gas available to your current hot water system.

c)       Always make sure that the plumber installing your tankless water heater is licensed by the state of Texas and carries current  insurance (You can check this on the State’s website at www.tsbpe.gov)

d)      Verify that a city permit has been issued to your plumber for your new tankless water heater. Be sure to have the city inspector come and inspect the installation of the tankless water heater for proper installation.
